Fukudomi My Land Park

Fukudomi My Land Park

Fukudomi My Land Koen Park Fukudomi My Land Park was created as part of developing a town with new appeal and passing down the history of polders to the next generation. The highlight of this park, which is divided into a sports zone and a recreation zone, is the Wanpaku Hiroba. Based on the children's book, "Pippi in the South Seas" by Swedish writer, Astrid Lindgren, the playground features adventure-evoking play equipment from the start to the goal. Children can play as though they are Pippi herself, with the sailing ship "Hoptoad", a roofed slide, a Tarzan rope and more. Baseball, softball and gateball can be enjoyed in the multipurpose exercise area. In Fureai Kantakukan, there is a historic resource room and local product exhibition room where visitors can learn about the development of Shiraishi town. Moreover, the seven-story, 18-meter high lookout located inside the park offers 360 degree views of Ariake Sea, Mount Kishima, Taradake and Tenzan. Here you will thoroughly enjoy the appeal of Shiraishi town.
