Situated along National Route 323, Narukaminosho is a wholesaler of specialty products from Nanayama of Karatsu city. Inside you will find row upon row of local produce including fish caught fresh that morning, vegetables, fruit, the local sweet "Yomogi Manju" and Nanayama tea, which was awarded a prize by the Minister for Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. This store adopts a system whereby the producer directly sets the price of their fruit and vegetables themselves. All of the foodstuffs in the store are handmade by village residents. The fresh produce made with such devotion amidst the beautiful nature of Nanayama are highly popular and the shop is inundated with customers from the time they open their doors. In particular, the fruit and vegetables are so popular that the majority is sold out before lunch time. Handmade produce is labeled with the name of the producer and emphasis is placed on building a trusting relationship with buyers.
