Saga Sake

Saga Sake

Saga Sake Starting with the Saga plains, Saga prefecture is one of the best rice-producing regions in Japan.
Water is another ingredient said to be critical to making good Japanese sake. Saga boasts several water spots which have been chosen as the top 100 waters of Japan.
Premium rice and crystal-clear water have enabled the creation of the highly unique Japanese sake characteristic of Saga prefecture.
That uniqueness is the sake's "rich and mellow" flavor. Complementing Kyushu's sweet and rich food, Saga prefecture's rich and mellow flavor is said to have been favored from days of old.
