Higashi-Sefuri Hot Springs "Sasanqua-No-Yu"

Higashi-Sefuri Hot Springs 'Sasanqua-No-Yu' An open-air bath with magnificent panoramic views across the Saga plains and Sefuri mountain range!
East Sefuri is said to be where the monk Eisai, a forefather of tea, cultivated the first tea in Japan.
It is on this high ground that an onsen was built based on the theme of tea in December of 2006.
This onsen features a common bathing area with views of the Saga plains and Sefuri mountain range, as well as a restaurant, a place to relax and a store selling fresh local produce, etc.
The onsen is rich in alkaline content and gushes up from 1,800 meters under the ground.
The water other than that sourced from the hot spring, comes from the natural spring exposed when constructing the East Sefuri tunnel and it is used not only in the baths, but in the restaurant and all other areas of the onsen.
We recommend the family bath adjacent to a 13 m2 tatami room.
There is an open-air bath with flowing hot spring water and an indoor bath which uses the natural spring water. This is part of the "Private Rental Bath & Meal Plan" which also includes a meal in the room.
