Large rhododendron in Shige The Giant Rhododendron of Shiki comprises of three bushes said to be over 200 years old (planted during the Kansei Period) which are approximately five meters high, with a branch span of approximately three to five meters, as well as 20 bushes planted around 40 years ago. The best time to view these flowers is mid-April and the dainty pink flowers are bound to evoke a gasp of admiration from onlookers.

● Access: Car: Drive along Route 202 toward Karatsu and Imari, turn left at “Shigebashi” bus stop and drive for 5 minutes
● Entry Fee: Free
